An eccentric inventor is building a giant Star Wars combat vehicle in his garden, and it is already so large it towers over his house.
Colin Furze from Stamford, Lincolnshire, decided to build a replica AT-AT Walker for his three children.
The 36-year-old made the four-legged machine, which is used by the Imperial Guard forces, by multiplying the measurements on a toy model by twelve.

Outside in the garden, he demonstrates a platform, operated by a pulley system, that automatically lifts people to the top of the AT-AT.
Furze built the metal structure using only materials brought from eBay, apart from steel and wood which he had to order in larger quantities.
One of Furze's other recent creations was a floating bicycle, branded a 'hover-bike'.

Furze admires his creation from his house, which is easily dwarfed by the giant metal structure
The inventor came up with the idea based on the suggestions of thousands of viewers who asked for him to create some sort of flying machine.
Furze designed the bike with two floor-facing fans connected to two motors and a frame, with guards over the fans to stop him being 'sucked up and chopped up'.
He chose to use two para-jet motors - like giant fans - to lift the bike off the floor and allow it to hover.
