Kameko is a Danish anime union based in Copenhagen and the primary sponsor of Genki. In the weeks prior to the official planning of Genki commencing, a few of Kameko's "Kameko Day" (a weekly event) was used as a 'testing ground' of sorts for how to set up Genki's Game Room and game-related events, i.e. tourneys. However, while the testing proved a success, not everything was implemented into Genki 2009.
