Genksters is the name of the group of volunteers that organizes Genki. The group is divided into several teams, each team with their own focus and set of responsibilities.
Teams
Director
The 'top-dog' position currently held by Allan Petersen. Has the total overview of the planning of the convention as well as the power to VETO decissions made in the management group.
Management

The management group work on a wide variety of things related to the structures of the convention. This includes, but isn't limited to, information management, finances, advertising, making and updating the website, making the con book, doing decorations, answering questions by the public and businesses, interacting with partners, sponsors, and dealers, etc. In a sense, they make sure that structure and core of the con is in order, so that the other groups can focus on their respective responsibilities.
Games

The game group are in charge of the game room(s). They are responsible for acquireing consoles, televisions, and games for the game room, as well as organize table-top games and game tournaments.
Gallery
- See also: Genksters/Gallery members.
The gallery group are in charge of the artist alley and all things art-related, such as supervising the booths from where artists can sell their art, organizing drawing contests, etc.
Events
- See also: Genksters/Event members.
The events group are directly supervised by the management group. All event ideas must be approved by the management in order to assure tha no laws or ethical borders are broken, but once an idea has been approved, the person(s) will organize it themselves from within the events group. Fan-made events, such as the fan-panels, are also supervised by this group.
Cosplay

The cosplay group are responsible for the cosplay contest, cosplay walk, and other games and panels directly related to cosplay.

Pashiri

The Pashiri group is the group that are considered the leaders of the Pashiri. The pashiri group make the pashiri work schedule and are the contact link between the Genksters and the Pashiri.
