I have been active in cosplay cons since J-popcon 2007. I performed at both SVScons, and won judges favorite in 2008 (by getting a kunai and chidori up my butt). I began the work as helper (pashiri) at Genki 2009, where I helped [[Maru]] and Daniel with the cosplayshow. I also performed during a small break due to technical problems (anyone remembers my stepdance?).
I liked helping out at the con, and I'm considering helping out in future cons instead of just participating.

My birthday is at the exact same time as J-popcon. My 18th and 19th birthday was at the con, much to my parents dislike.

'''Genki 2009''' was considered a beta-con by the organizer group, [[Genksters]]. Genki was originally intended to debut in August 2010, but a sudden offer from Valby Kulturhus to use their building for free pushed the plans ahead of schedule. The Genksters took the opportunity in order to test out ideas for events and workshops and to get a better feel for making a convention, so that ''[[Genki 2010]]'' could become a great success.

==Planning==
Planning for ''Genki 2009'' began in late March/early April, roughly two months before the con. Due to the tight schedule, the organizer group would have bi-weekly meetings to update eachother on personal progress, discuss ideas, and to plan the con. In addition to that, the main organizers would have almost daily online-meetings; discussing the finer details of the con planning as well as what issues to bring up at the next big group meeting.

==Programme==
Despite only two months of planning, Genki 2009 featured a full programme for the entire 55 straight hours that it was open. Among these features were:
*a non-stop open [[Manga Lounge]] and [[Anime Cinema]]
*a [[Karaoke]] room
*a live J-rock concert
*four [[Panel]]s
*three [[Game Tournament]]s
*several contests
